By accessing or using ReleaseRoad ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

2. Description of Service

ReleaseRoad is a software platform that allows businesses and individuals to publish public roadmaps, post changelogs, and collect product feedback from their users. The Service is accessible at releaseroad.com and app.releaseroad.com.

3. Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current information during registration.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
• Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Distribute malware, spam, or other harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without prior written consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

ReleaseRoad offers free and paid subscription plans. Subscription plan details and pricing are available at releaseroad.com/pricing and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

All payments are processed through our third-party payment processors. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

6. Customer Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("Customer Content"). By submitting Customer Content, you grant ReleaseRoad a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for your Customer Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit your Customer Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

ReleaseRoad and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, design, trademarks, and content provided by us. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logo, or trademarks without prior written consent.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Service or its users.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion option in your settings. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RELEASERLOAD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ReleaseRoad, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by sending an email to your registered address. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
